Past performance does NOT guarantee future results!

Over 40 years of following the same advice, and Americans are sicker and fatter than ever. So why do we keep doing the same thing over and over, expecting different results?

-Einstein...Beuller...Anyone??? Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Now:
-33% of the US population is obese
-67% of the US population is at least overweight or more

In the Future:
By 2030, 86.3% adults will be overweight or obese and 51.1% will be obese.
By 2048, all American adults will become overweight or obese (source: Obesity Research Journal).

So in order to reverse this trend, something different needs to be done. Still with me? Good!

Most of the health problems today stem from just being fat:

  • Coronary heart disease
  • Type 2 diabetes
  • Cancers (endometrial, breast, colon)
  • Hypertension
  • Dyslipidemia (problems with blood lipids)
  • Stroke
  • Liver and gallbladder disease
  • Sleep apnea and respiratory problems
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Gynecological problems
Now, why are you still accepting being fat? Overweight or obese....either one, choose your poison.
If you are carrying extra fatty tissue, it's directly attributed to those diseases listed above. Guess where I got that from? Some wacky guy with an aluminum hat and cat???

No, actually I got it from the CDC: http://www.cdc.gov/obesity/causes/health.html

There is discordance between who you are and what you should be eating.
We have scarcely changed, genetically from Paleolithic times to modern humanity. We are genetically adapted to the diets of ancient man and woman, yet we consume a diet very foreign to our digestive systems.

My simple, yet very effective advice is to eat what you are designed to eat. You will loose weight, reverse biomarkers of disease and dysfunction, and feel much healthier. Change what you are doing now and get different results in the future.

Healthful Regards,
